Lexus will debut a racing version of its RC F performance coupe at the 2014 Geneva International Motor Show.
[singlepic id=15081 w=620 h= float=]The RC F GT3 concept has been developed to meet GT3 international racing standards. Weighing just 1,250 kg, the RC F GT3 features a modified version of the RC F’s V8 engine, producing a maximum power output approaching 400 kilowatts.
Lexus will supply GT3-compliant vehicles to racing teams starting in 2015, with vehicle testing commencing this year. GT3-compliant vehicles are an attractive option for race events globally and are eligible for numerous events, including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring endurance race in Germany and the Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series in Japan.
