All New Honda Jazz 2014 Officially Launched in Malaysia. Price starts from RM72,800

The wait is over! Honda Malaysia has officially launched the all new 2014 Honda Jazz. Available for viewing / test-drive / booking in all Honda showrooms nationwide. The all new Honda Jazz is now available in 3 variants – S, E and V variants. 

All 3 variants of the new Honda Jazz comes with the 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine which produces 120PS at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque. What’s excitingly new in this new model of Honda Jazz is the newly developed ‘Earth Dreams’ technology CVT gearbox. It is reported to claim 17.81km/L of fuel consumption. 

Though the interior is similar to the current Honda City model, there are still slight differences that you can on the Jazz apart from the City’s interior. On the Jazz, there’s no ECON mode / button, cruise control and also no paddle shifts. What’s special is the rear seats that is able to fold in almost every way. Apart from folding it flat down, you can also have the option to lift up the base of the seat to insert tall items into the car. Both the front seats can also be reclined flat for long items inserting from the back. 

Comes base in all variants includes halogen headlamps, LED tail lamps, ABS, EBD and also brake assist. Grade S will feature a manual air-conditioning system, single-DIN head unit and only 4 speakers, dual airbags and 15″ steel wheels with plastic covers (not sport rims).

 Grade E, on the other hand, will come with much more accessories. Touch panel auto-aircond system, a console box with armrest, leather wrapped steering wheel, 15″ sport rims, 4 speakers, standard double-DIN audio system head unit, dual airbags. The grade E variants adds in hill-start assist, emergency start-stop signal and also VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist).

As for the top ranging Grade V, packed with whole lot of accessories such as 6 airbags, 16″ alloy wheels, 7-inch touch screen with HDMI connectivity, steering is mounted with a hands-free telephone control.

You can now have an option to customize your Honda Jazz with either Modulo Package or the Mugen Package. The Modulo Package will include bodykit, sport pedals at only RM2,650. Adding on further customization, you can add on foot lights, cargo tray, trunk organizer and side step illumination at only RM1,250. As for the Mugen Package, it will include bodykit, spoiler and Mugen badge at RM4,900.

Jazz (Grade S) – RM72,800
Jazz (Grade E) – RM79,800
Jazz (Grade V) – RM87,800

The all new Jazz will be available in few colors – Tinted Silver (new), Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, Tafetta White, Crystal Black Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic. 5 years warranty with unlimited mileage included.
