Audi A3 Sedan 2021 Launched, Malaysia & Australia next year

Audi A3 Sedan 2021 is here! Just a month after the officially available Hatchback version. Rumours has it will be available in Malaysia and Australia Showrooms next year(2021).

This is the second-generation Audi A3 four-door sedan. As compare the the previous generation is slightly longer, wider and taller while its wheelbase remains unchanged. Interesting it has an increase of headroom of 2cm in front and extra room for elbow. Rear boot space are rear same as last generation. However, the A3 sedan gets 40 litres more than space than the hatchback.

At launch in the Europe two engines are available. A turbocharged four-cylinders, one petrol and A one turbocharged diesel. The entry-level engine is named as ‘35 TFSI’, a 1.5-litre petrol developing 148Hp and 250Nm of torque with a gearbox option of 6 speed manual or a 7 speed dual clutch automatic.

The automatic transmission package comes standard with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which recovers energy during deceleration, improves acceleration at low speeds and allows the car to coast with the engine switched off in certain situations. The result is a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 0.4L/100km  in everyday motoring, Audi claims

Interior wise, although identical to the 2021 Audi A3 Hatchback, it upholds Audi’s direction of modern luxury interior.Featuring, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen integrated seamless into the dashboard and cockpit and an optional 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster (a 10.25-inch digital unit is fitted as standard).

Specification configuration for the interior available including leather trim, ambient LED, navigation system, WiFI hotspot and digital radio. Of course Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring are available as well.

Malaysia & Australia

Rumour has it that the 2021 Audi A3 Sedan will be available in Malaysia and Australia Audi showroom next year and the possible pre-order later this year.
