Pilot Program in Malaysia for Nissan LEAF Electric Vehicle (EV)

In conjunction of the Nissan global release about Nissan LEAF won the Car of the Year Japan 2011-2012 award at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show. In Malaysia, Executive Director of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) – Dato’ Dr Ang Bon Beng also announce that a pilot program for the zero-emission 100% electric Nissan LEAF will be introduced in Malaysia in 1^st half of 2012.

He added that this pilot program in Malaysia is in line with Nissan’s comprehensive efforts toward the realization of a zero-emission society. Moreover, the Pilot program will involve Electric Vehicle awareness sharing and experimental drives to the local Government bodies, members of the media as well as public audiences.
