Honda Freed with dual auto sliding doors will be imported from Honda’s Indonesia plant to Malaysia. The Freed is compact mini MPV, based on the new 2009 Honda Jazz.

From the teaser site of Honda Malaysia – 4plusideas.com, I assuming the local model will be 7 seaters model with twin power sliding door with twin SRS airbag. It will be equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder SOHC 16 valve L15A i-VTEC engine mated with 5-speed auto transmission and delivers an output of 120PS – similar like the 2009 Honda Jazz.
For braking mechanism, the car having front Ventilated Disc Brake and Rear Drum Brake with 15 inch alloy wheels (185/65R15).For safety wise, the Honda Freed was tested with 6 JNCAP Stars for safety too.
