Ford has make its flagship hot hatch – Fiesta more sportier. Named with Ford Fiesta Sport+ Limited Edition, this limited edition hot hatch is based on a 3 door edition of the Ford Fiesta which we don’t get it here in Malaysia. The most significant highlight of this limited edition Fiesta is Ford are able to tuned up the 1.6 Liter Duratec Ti-VCT 4 cylinder engine from the standard 120hp to 134hp. In addition of that 8Nm torque has been in increase from the tunning.
The Ford Fiesta Sport+ is fitted with new bumper and wider side skirts. The car is painted with unique Blue color and with 2 white racing tripes from front to back. From the side there’s also 2 white stripse from the fender to the back following the body line. From the back there’s roof-mounted spoiler and integrated twin-pipe exhaust with the rear diffuser.
The 134hp Fiesta is also fitted with 17″ rims for better handling and has been painted in white as well. The interior has been tweaked to give more exclusivity with leather and blue stitching on the steering, seats, handbrake handle, gear knob and etc. With 134hp and 17″ inch wheels the Sport+ Fiesta is able to deliver 8.7 seconds to 100km/h, that’s 1.2 second quicker than a standard version. The Ford Fiesta Sport+ is going for Euro 18,090 ( RM 74,768.06) and currently only available in in Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.
While this special edition is not available in Malaysia, perhaps the local Ford Fiesta owners can get some design cues here to modify their cars.
