If you have been following us, probably you knew that the launch of the all-new Honda Fit Shuttle was postponed due to a variety of problems that arose from the March 11 massive earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The good news, Honda had officially launched the all-new Honda Fit Shuttle on last Thursday in Japan. This 5-seat layout mini MPV model is longer and taller, with extra space on both the rear passengers and cargo area.
The 2012 Honda Fit Shuttle in Japan offered in two variants. The base model is powered by 1.5-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and a hybrid model with a combination of 1.3-litre engine and 10kW electric motor.
The hybrid model is available only with front-wheel drive and a CVT, while the regular Fit Shuttle can be ordered either with front-wheel drive and a CVT or with all-wheel drive and 5-speed automatic transmission. Pricing of the Japan-only Fit Shuttle starts at ¥1,610,000 and the hybrid model starts at ¥1,810,000.
