Possibly you can call to mind that the Nissan Elgrand is one of the test drive vehicles under Nissan ‘Drive Me Cra2y’ campaign that happened last year in Malaysia. Today, the fully imported all-new Nissan Elgrand is finally launched together with the new Nissan Murano facelift.

The Nissan Elgrand uses a 3.5-litre V6 engine that has a maximum power output of 280PS at 6400rpm and maximum torque of 344Nm at 4400rpm. The Elgrand wears a stylish Chrome-coated, polished 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a choice of four exterior colours: White Pearl, Brilliant Silver, Dark Purple and Black while the interior features a luxurious dark espresso leather and gradation wood-tone panel.
In addition, the “King of Minivans” offers the passenger with easy entry via the automatic large rear door slides, a separate dual-zone automatic climate control for front and rear cabin, a private theatre entertainment system and an advance Around View Monitor parking camera that allows driver an easy manoeuvre in tight spaces.
The front and second row passengers will be having by the Elgrand’s signature feature – ‘Captain Seat’. These individual Captain seats incorporate three new technologies: ‘seat cushion-integrated leg rest,’ ‘articulated seatback,’ and ‘three-layered cushion pads.’ Nissan is the only automaker adopting all three technologies that makes a traveller feels like sitting in a First Class airline seat.
The new Nissan Elgrand is fully imported from Japan and selling at RM384,863.20 excluding road tax, insurance and registration related charges in Peninsular Malaysia. It comes standard with a 3-year or 100,000km warranty. ETCM’s After Sales Service provides 24 hours road assistance, towing and minor-on-the-spot repairs in Malaysia.
2012 Nissan Murano Facelift
The new facelifted Nissan Murano now come with a refreshed bold grille and a redesigned front bumper complete with a beautiful 5-Y spoke 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear is enhanced with newly designed sleek bright LED taillights together with integrated dual exhaust outlets to create a distinctive bold athletic stance.

Some of the enhancements made to the interior are the double stitching design leather seats, ‘Fine Vision Meter’ reading instruments, a redesigned centre console with improved rotary controls, a newly positioned central display that provides a greater visibility and a USB port. The Murano features a familiar 3.5-litre V6 engine that produces a maximum power of 260PS at 6,000rpm with a maximum torque of 336Nm at 4,400rpm and is coupled with an advanced Xtronic CVT transmission with an intelligent all-wheel drive system.
The newly facelifted Nissan Murano is selling at RM318,882.50 excluding road tax, insurance and registration related charges in Peninsular Malaysia. Same as all other Nissan cars, it also comes standard with a 3-year or 100,000km warranty plus roadside assist.
Lastly, the new Nissan Elgrand and the Nissan Murano can be exclusively viewed at selected Nissan showrooms nationwide from 21st April 2012 onwards.
